Unfortunately, many kittens are born on private residential property. Many of the property owners hate cats. These defenceless kittens have little chance at life because they are so vulnerable. Because the mother cannot be caught, the kittens are taken to the garbage yard area called "the dump" where they are left to die of starvation or are eaten alive by the many alligators who roam the area.

If you could open your heart to one of these beautiful island kittens, you will be giving them a greater chance at life.

VIRTUAL ADOPTIONS

With so many kittens being born everyday there are always many kittens/cats in need of homes.

You are never too far away to help make a difference. Would you become a Kitty Parent by virtually adopting one or two of our kitties?

For only $50.00 US a year, your kind sponsorship will be helping us provide food, vaccinations and medications for a cat or kitten.

You will be making a difference in your adopted cats life. Your kind generosity will be greatly appreciated by all at P.A.W.

LIVE ADOPTIONS

There are always many kittens and cats in desperate need of homes.

We try our best at P.A.W by helping many of these animals but although we would like to care for as many as we can, there is just so much we can do with limited space and funding.

Would you open your heart and your home to a homeless, less fortunate kitty?

Many healthy and readily adoptable cats/kitttens come to P.A.W. You can feel good knowing that adopting a cat from PAW is a rewarding way to save the lives of two cats! Not only are you directly providing a loving home for one cat, you also free a space for P.A.W. to take in another desperate animal in need.

HOW DOES THE ADOPTION PROGRAM WORK?

If you plan to visit the island of Caye Caulker and are interested in adopting an animal, simply contact us and let us know your date of arrival. Please let us know at least three months in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements for you to take back your new family addition upon your departure.

STEPS TO ADOPTING

• Contact us with your arrival date.
• Let us know if you have a specific preference (male/female).
• Bring a carrier with you or send us a donation so we can buy one for you (please contact us for details).
• Download and fill out our adoption form.

The adoption fee is 100$ US which includes rabies and flu shots, and appropriate entry documents for your new family addition.
