I WISH I WAS AN OCTOPUS!

Hi friends, so much has happened at the sanctuary since our website and blog was first created and although I promised to update you constantly, things good and bad have been happening so fast, too fast for one person to handle. I really do wish I was an octopus, maybe and only maybe will I be able to keep up!

Since I am the only one taking care of the sanctuary and its animal residents, my furry ones are a priority and unfortunately this blog is not getting the attention it needs. Nevertheless, I just wanted to stop by and let all of you know that we are all hanging in there and hoping and praying for a safe hurricane season.

I also wanted to send word that I am desperately in need of helping hands, so if there are any animal lovers, vet techs, vet students etc. out there who would like to help a great cause, please email us with your details. You will definately have a wonderful time helping our animals and getting to know this unique island.

Stay well,

What wonderful kitties and a beautiful island! I am seriously considering visiting the sanctuary for my vacation in 2009 or 2010 after seeing it on AboutCats. Please send me any additional information you may have on your volunteer vacation program.
